Product was designed for a MTN bike I believe? I'm using it on modified Shimano 2x crankset turned into a 1x. The chain tends to drop off the chainring on the pedal side when I "soft pedal" and shift to a smaller gear on cassette. But this product out of the box wouldn't work as the horizontal round bar is too long and hits the seat tube. So, I shortened that bar. Then had to modify the inside finger buy removing it. This way I can pull the outside finger closer to the chainring.
