RollerCoaster Tycoon: Corkscrew Follies is an expansion pack for those seasoned tycoons sitting on a pile of money and watching their theme parks prosper. With thirty new building scenarios, it's time to get your lazy bum up and manage dying and unpopular parks, maintain high profile entertainment centers and add to your overall wealth.<br><br>Like most expansion packs, Corkscrew Follies adds a variety of enhancements/goodies to the original game, in this case RollerCoaster Tycoon. In addition to the existing coaster types, tycoons are given more types and rides from which to choose including the Side Friction Roller Coaster and Virginia Reel along with their pre-fabricated coaster designs.<br><br>Not every park consists of roller coasters; some have dinky attractions like go-kart tracks and haunted houses. Corkscrew Follies comes with a plethora of these rides including ghost trains and a brand new miniature golf course! Depending on your park's theme, players can customize these rides with different vehicles, e.g., dolphins for a lake, dinosaurs for a jungle park.<br><br>If you're not happy with the way a current design looks, modify the ride's color scheme. Whereas you were limited in the original version as to what you could paint, Corkscrew Follies allows its moguls to change each section of a specific ride right down to individual cars and seats.<br><br>Because Chris Sawyer, the game's chief designer and programmer, is a roller coaster junkie, he realized that many theme parks were broken into different sections rather than having all the rides scattered around. Players can now separate their park with banners, creating different types of "worlds" or "lands." If so inclined, players could erect a water park named Aquatic Land located near or in an ocean but totally separate from the park's other roller coasters.<br><br>In addition to new themes such as the jungle and Jurassic settings, Corkscrew Follies comes with some different kinds of scenery including canyons, oceans, flower gardens and more. Because your park is often graded on it's excitement factor, what could be better than having a coaster rocket hanging over a cliff, pulling back at just the right moment?<br><br>Sound like fun?     Good way to start expanding!!!!

    In this expansion you are introduced to a majority of new scenarios with new challenges to take on. You will also recieve a few new scenery items and the ability to paint sections of track different colors. In this expansion you start out easy until you get to Haunted Harbor. Their is a roller coaster and ghost train that can not be edited or deleted. Keep an eye on the the roller coaster becuase it tends to crash and blow up a lot. This expansion will give you more oppertunities to show what your made of and tyr and design the greatest roller coaster ever. If you are planning to save $$$ then either buy the deluxe version or Loopy Landscapes because the already come with Corkscrew Follies. If you want to expand your collection of RCT games then this is a must have game. Thanks for viewing ...

    The first expansion for RCT

    The first expansion pack for RCT brought changes! Good changes! There's new scenarios, some are really.. different.. New rides and enhancements... Some items are only available in certain scenarios though.. New colors! You can change the colors and designs for the footpaths and queue lines. You can paint your rides.. I found this kind of cool, but not really usefull. It's fun to color coordinate your rides though. Banner signs! Not particularly usefull i think.. but you can put a scrolling marquee so your people can see different sections or whatever. it's always fun to put on your sign.. "Enter only if you like cat poop" or something.. then just watch them go. heheh... this is a good expansion pack, but if you're going to expand your RCT, get Loopy Landscapes. It comes with CF too. ...

    Great expansion game - loads of new attractions!

    Good expansion game to add to your original Roller Coaster Tycoon. Adds lots of new attractions to make the game more interesting and fun. I loaded it on Vista and it caused the game to crash. Fortunately I found that there were patches and ways to get the game to work. I did what I found and it runs fine!

    tycoon fun!

    This game is so much fun, i have had it for about 2 weeks and can't get enough of it! It shows the ways of making the rollercoasters completely by yourself and running your very own park!

    GOod eBay seller. Product not the best

    Game not compatible with my computer (a windows) even though the original RT is. I never got to place it so i can't really place a review for it
