    The Wrecker by Clive Cussler

    The audio book is a great thriller about the construction of a major railroad in the west during the early 1900s. The knowledge by the author of the times and railroad terminology was very good. I thought the ending was a bit over done and he could have had some of the other characters play more of a role in catching the villain rather than relying on the hero doing all of the work. There were a couple of Hollywood instances where superhuman forces were at work and this would not be possible by mortal humans. Overall a good story, especially if you have an interest in railroads. I bought a used audio book and there was a scratch on the first CD. It did not ruin the set of 12, however, and I could enjoy the rest of the book.

    Riveting

    I really enjoyed this story with it's fast pace and intricate plot line. Isaac Bell is one of my favorite detective's and the reading by Scott Brick was more than brilliant. Highly recommend it!
