Beginning crocheters pass this book up ...not good for beginners.
The book itself is in good condition and was satisfied with that BUT, for beginners this isn't the book to start with as it's already advanced from first chapter. For crocheters that are familiar with stitches and such it is handy . myself, I had to order another crochet book for absolute beginners which is awesome! "First Time Crochet- absolute beginners guide." With this book I am already crocheting and have learned many stitches in just 5 days a couple hours a day when possible. I also enjoy the patterns in the beginners book much better. This book is a must for any crocheter who is just starting to crochet or who is experienced! The crochet stitches are illustrated in full sequence photos. There is a size conversioin chart in the book for converting hooks from metric size to US size. Sometimes I find crochet patterns from the UK I like and this conversion chart will come in handy for the right crochet hook to use. It is a good idea to learn both US and UK crochet patterns in my opinion. This book helps with everything crochet from A-Z just like the title of the book states! I'm very glad I have it for the crochet stitches and the new stitches I see in the book!This book is a must for any crocheter who is just starting to crochet or who is experienced!
