Synopsis
Discover a side of Alberta that most people don't know exists, as humorist Michael Kerr dishes out answers to the burning question: What's So Funny About Alberta? There is more to Alberta than just low taxes and dead dinosaurs, as Kerr discovers on his quest for its lighter side. Come along as he makes like a Trekkie in Vulcan, shops 'til he drops at West Edmonton Mall, goes in search of a national park on the streets of Banff, moseys off to the Calgary Stampede, and gazes hungrily at the world's largest perogy. Part travelogue, part eclectic humour guide, What's So Funny About Alberta? offers a unique perspective on Alberta and is filled with strange Alberta trivia, hilarious tourist questions, rollicking tales from the road, Albertan jokes, top ten lists, and much more. Whether you're a true blue Albertan or just visiting, once you've read this book you'll never look at Alberta (or perhaps even Albertans) the same way again!, Discover a side of Alberta that most people don't know exists, as humorist Michael Kerr dishes out answers to the burning question: What's So Funny About Alberta? I thought I was ordering a paper back, especially considering the price was only around $10. I'm not sure if they shipped a hard cover by mistake. But I am more than happy to accept it. The description wasn't clear on what it was. So this could very well have been the intended item. I was not very impressed with their customer service at all. It took them days to respond and they didn't seem to care about the delay in shipping. I might purchase again, but I would be cautious as it was delayed.

The book was exactly as described and arrived quickly. The only problem is a recurring one with this seller and other similar sellers - the book is poorly packaged in a plastic envelope and gets heavily bumped in shipping. I would like to see the books wrapped before shipment, but I understand this can't be done for cost reason. Luckily it isn't an expensive book, and I will continue to purchase basic books from this seller. A+++++
