Synopsis
Do you find yourself at times arguing with your son or daughter about their sports performance or commitment levels, and that they don't listen to your advice? Do you ever feel unappreciated by your children or their coaches for all the time, money, and emotional energy that you invest? Do you want to reduce the arguments and stress that derive from their sport and when they are competing? Is there a way you can help your child become a WINNER on the field/court and in life too?Founder of the 'Winning Parent' concept, Daniel Massaro has coached a number of elite level international athletes in various sports for 20 years, including his wife, Laura Massaro, who is a World Champion and World Number One Squash Player. Daniel is an internationally respected figure and award winning lecturer who has worked in the highly competitive youth sports arena educating players, coaches, and parents from all corners of the globe. Through these experiences, Daniel has acquired crucial understanding and knowledge regarding what it takes for parents to become 'Winning Parents' in both sport and life.In this book, he provides a distinctive insight into how parents can formulate more powerful, enduring, and effective relationships with their children during their sports journey. Based on academic research, interviews with 'Winning Parents', and current professional performers, these secrets have been packaged into a simple yet innovative 7-stage plan called 'The Winning Flightpath'."Danny is inspirational and clearly ahead of the game; it is no surprise that he has coached his wife to World Number One. While having the pleasure of working with him on this material, it became clear why, and more importantly HOW, parents can become such powerful forces in their child's sporting experiences. If you are serious about helping your child unlock their potential and become a WINNER in any sport, this is an absolute must read! - Richard Shaw, Time Warner Sports, New York & Co-author of the bestselling book 'Coaching Outside the Box'

The book was exactly as described and arrived quickly. The only problem is a recurring one with this seller and other similar sellers - the book is poorly packaged in a plastic envelope and gets heavily bumped in shipping. I would like to see the books wrapped before shipment, but I understand this can't be done for cost reason. Luckily it isn't an expensive book, and I will continue to purchase basic books from this seller. A+++++

Positive experience but could be better. Item description was accurate but, it was shipped in a simple bag with no carton or any protection. The bag was broken in places and the USPS bent the book like it was a newspaper and ruined what was an excellent looking book. That was clearly the USPS fault but a "Do Not Bend" or carton would help next time. Otherwise accurate description, value, condition and Fast shipping. I'm a returning customer and will keep buying from World of Books
