The Walkman box is small, but fitted into a much larger fedex box, then stuffed with Japanese newspaper, which was a cool touch. Plus, I think fedex used the box as a football, so definitely protected the device. The device was in Japanese, I factory reset it with some help of YouTube and the thing works great. An uncapped Walkman for 2/3rds of the price on Amazon. Winner!
