Bottom Line-- Enjoyable Read.
The book was incredibly similar to the show. The first book in this series is the entire first episode of the show. I loved how on spot the book was in comparison to the show. I did not like that the appearances of the characters were totally different than the show. (If you cant tell, I watched the show first). Emily is the most different character in the books compared to Emily in the show. I didnt like that the girls weren't very close in this book. It was a lot of flip flopping around from story to story. Hanna's mom was similar in her character from the book to the show, except that you don't feel her undying love for her daughter as well as in the show. The author doesnt elaborate on the parents' lives in the book. In my personal opinion, I enjoy seeing what the parents are doing. It ... The book was incredibly similar to the show.
