    A waste of money

    This gasket remover is worthless. May as well be using water. I had a lot of stubborn gaskets on a outboard motor rebuild. I tried paint thinner acetone gasoline boiling water and kerosene. None of them work very well all those gasoline was the best of those mentioned. I finally ended up getting the best results with paint remover. The permatex gasket remover was least effective of all.

    Permatex- gasket remover

    I needed a product to help me take off an old gasket from the block of my car's engine. And this product helped me do it. It helped loosen it so that I can scrap the old gasket easier than if I didn't have anything to help loosen it. So, I would recommend this product. Thank you.

    Product can needs more propellant

    It may work well, but I'll never know. There was so little propellent in the can, it stopped pushing material out of the can in just about 45 seconds. So little material was put on the gasket that I gave up.

    Disappointed!

    Product did not work after leaving it on the gasket as directed. After first application the substance that came out of the can looked like silicone and did not work at all.
