However, the brass intake "nipple" will slip over a cut 5/8" garden hose (after you remove the rubber "o" ring) and it then can be secured with a hose clamp.

And the the condition I received my package due to the delivery system.. Im thankful they didnt damage my items.. The package was tore up from the handling.. Big whole on one side and looked like it was kicked around.. The whole outside of the package was covered in dirt and you can see skid marks.
