Starting up the device, the default language is Japanese, but I was able to easily set it up using the translate feature on Google Lense using my phone, and then was able to change the language to English. And if you're wondering, yes, this is the uncapped Japanese version. I will certainly be ordering from this shop again in the future.

The player language was in Japanese but a small program can change this easily and quickly without harming the device (search for 'SonyNWDestTool'). The seller thoughtfully included printed English instructions from Sony. I would recommend this seller as they were attentive to any questions I had and the item was sent quickly.
