    Great item. Sturdy. Clear markings. Typical of Mitutoyo quality. Unfortunately, this item appears to be new old stock. Protective plastic sleeve is hardened and cracked. Stainless steel is lightly tarnished from years of storage in plastic sleeve. I would consider the condition NOS rather than Brand New.
