the coby mp3 player is a easy to use, easy to carry player. plugs into the usb port and xp/vista both instantly recognize it. from there its drag and drop your music and your off, no 3rd party software to contend with. its almost perfect except for the battery life doesnt last near as long as the rechargable ipods and such, but on the up side, after buying a couple rechargable AAA batteries i can change out on the fly and i dont have to worry about the batteries wearing out and making the player obsolete. good luck with that ipod users.
I recently received the Coby MP300 2GB MP3 Player. Audio quality is surprisingly good for the price. The included earplugs are very thin and metallic audio, recomend to upgrade those. Player is a bit slow when transfering mp3 files to it, even via USB 2.0 it goes at about 1,5 MB/sec at tops. Quality is on the light side, and the buttons are sometimes missing keystrokes, so you have to press twice. Positive is that its very small , lightweight, and plugs directly into the usb. Great for workout sessions, and thats what i bought it for too.Simple as that. For 15$ u get a great mp3 player. add 10-15$ for some good earplugs like koss "the plug" , and you have a superb 30$ setup that will play for many many hours.
I really don't have any problems using this. The battery life is what you expect from a battery powered mp3 player; it will last a while but don't expect it to last 10-15+ hours. It's small and handy so you can put it in your pocket or just about anyplace. Also you can adjust the battery life by changing the backlight/features/etc. Really easy to set up; just plug in and dump songs. You can't switch around songs so you have to predetermine what music you want. That's not a problem with me, considering that I paid around 20 dollars for this. I rather have no shuffle than shuffle for about 40-50 dollars. I'm really happy with this mp3 player.
I wanted something small and cheap so I can listen to music in the gym, and this little device has been nothing short of perfect. It seems really solid, the music quality is great, and 2GB is more than enough...it takes quite a while to work through 500 songs. Its super easy to use...just plug it into my computers USB and add or delete songs.
I bought the Coby MP3 (2GB) Player a few days ago as a second purchase. I originally bought the 2GB player for my adult daughter as a gift, but she loved it so much that I wanted to try one for myself. I am impressed with the ease of downloading music onto the player from my computer. There is more memory space than I'd ever imagined. The compact size makes it descret to wear no matter when I'm at. The enclosed ear phones are comfortable to use. The only negative aspect is that while I'm listening to the player I have difficulty finding ways to secure the player onto my clothing to prevent the 'dangling effect'. I am thinking about purchasing a third one for my other daughter.
Price for the Mp3 Player is incredible. The MP3 player is easy to use,Tough plastic case,Loads of features,Sound quality better than I would expect.i happy with my Coby mp3 player.
this device is a nice one if the only thing you want its to litsen to mp3's with good quality. The price is reasonable and you dont have to worry about internal battery dying because the battery is a 3A up to 8 hours of continual playing or more. Again this is a very simple mp3 player it plays WMA'S format witch is very good if you rip your cd's and put it on your machine . you can also use it as an USB memory stick it works the same way
The 2gb coby mp300 audio player is one of the best mp3 players I use to buy, it use a AAA bettrie and the bettrie life last for the whole day! I like that more then a rechargeable mp3 player, if you are not rough with that player it last for at least 3 years! My expierence! I would like to buy more of those items if I would find more in ebay, so nobody afraid! Go ahead and buy one! You will love it
Very small, uses easily replaceable aaa battery (good for about 4 hours outside if it is below 30). Earbuds are junk, toss them. I hook mine to a JBL 12 volt powered computer speaker and use it in my truck, it sounds HUGE. 1000 songs in that tiny little thing is impressive, all for $20 What a deal. If I lose it, so what, just get another.
I love this mp3 player,it is so easy to load my music on to it. It's small so I can put it in my purse when I need to use it. I fly a couple of times a year and it makes my flights seem shorty.
