Reliable phone with removable battery. Fast, versatile and has Android!
Love functionality, like top screen with always on statuses, love the ability to change screen to black and white to save battery, screen size can be made smaller for one hand operation. Original battery doesn't hold charge long. I recommend after market with higher mAh. Negative - front camera for selfie isn't that good. I wish speaker wasn't located on the bottom

Too many blemishes and faulty power button.
My gf loves her v20 she got but unfortunately we'll have to return it, the screen and around the phone had many scratches looking as if had been dropped and mishandled. A case covered everything but the screen and a screen protector mad most scratches on the screen invisible but then the phone dies very quickly. Which we were going to just order a new battery, but now after just a few days use the power button is not working, therefore we will be returning the phone. The budget phone of 2018
There are tons of brand new phones that sell for under $300. This is the best of the lot of them. It has a snapdragon 820 processor that while no longer is state of the art, handily outperforms other chipsets in this price range. The V20 is amazing for content consumption due to its Quad HD display, headphone jack with built-in HiFi DAC & NFC/Bluetooth pairing capabilities. It also has a built-in FM radio tuner and an IR Blaster. I use the Samsung S8 Plus as my daily driver but this phone is much more fun. I'm not an avid photography fan, however I find the V20's dual camera system with wide capture lens much more useful than today's phones which opt for telephoto zoom. As a point and shoot device the LG V20 is subpar, but if you take time to figure out manual mode you can snap DSLR ... There are tons of brand new phones that sell for under $300. One of the selling points for me was the phone's durable build quality that includes military grade drop protection without a case attached. It boasts an all metal construction yet somehow still includes a removable back that houses a user replaceable battery, SD Card & SIM slot. The only two design flaws are the glass on the rear cameras. Its been known to break very easily. It's also a very bland phone in terms of design language. You'll need a stylish case or a skin to tolerate the phone's aesthetics sooner than you might think. The only real drawbacks of this device are software related. LG hasn't upgraded the OS since the phone was released. That means other than a couple of security patches you're running on an outdated version of Android. This contributes to poor battery optimization. Speaking of drawbacks battery life on this thing is awful. Samsung has power saving modes on the phone that allow me to scale back the resolution and CPU usage and background activities to conserve battery. My S8 Plus routinely gives me 16 to 24 hours of usage on a single charge. The V20 only lasts 6 to 8 hours per charge. Additional batteries (I've purchased 3) are an absolute must. My only other gripe with the V20 is sales support. Vendors here on EBay are sometimes unscrupulous. They'll sell used items as New-Other and Like New items as Brand New. Accessories, when high quality, are vastly overpriced or the selection is poor. There are many counterfeit items for the V20 parading about. Be smart and you'll end up paying a low price for a near flagship experience.

Decent phone, but buying an older flagship phone, like the G4 or G5, is probably a better option. The battery life is on the poor end of the scale. Decent camera, and decent responsiveness overall.
