    Unedited version of Jesus of Nazareth

    This version of "Jesus of Nazareth" is unedited and has the scene in it of Jesus telling Peter he will deny Jesus 3 times and the scene of Jesus saying who will betray him. Both of those scenes are cut out of what is aired on tv. So I am glad to now have the version of the movie that is unedited. I recommend this movie to everyone. A+++++++.

    One of my favorites

    I have been looking for movies of excellent portrayals of the life of Jesus and this is definitely one of the best. I have the Nativity Story for the birth, The Passion of the Christ for the crucifixion, and Risen for Jesus's resurrection. This one spans all that with a cinematic flair and great cast and acting. It really humanized the apostles and some of the other characters mentioned in the Bible. You really don't want to miss out on this treasure.

    Jesus of Nazareth is one of the best movies depicting the life of Jesus and the events that took place.

    Awesome movie, the best portrayal I have ever seen. A must watch for anyone who is interested in learning about our Lord and Savior. Extremely talented all star cast. They don't make movies like this anymore. I actually saw it on television when it first came out, was very pleased to be able to own it on DVD.

    Great movie!

    I saw it in my youth, and there were lots of parts I had forgotten. The best movie ever made about Jesus! Beautifully restored. Colors bright and clear. Wonderful actors. The best part for me is that it had subtitles. Of course, it's not entertaining, it's not a comedy! But I loved every moment of it.
