Jeep Wrangler YJ Dash Speakers
PROS - Nice clear sound, decent bass for their size, waterproof for those top-off caught in the rain days. CONS - Should have got the "plate" style (my fault). Predrilled holes did not match the Jeep's bolt pattern Upgraded the stereo in the 89 Wrangler and wanted durable componants. After a lot of research decided on the 461's. I should have got the flat plate style instead of the raised center tweeter cone but made them work with some 1/4" copper sleeves and some washers. Looks like Polk made every effort with the predrilled mounting holes to accomodate every application but the holes didn't line up on the Jeep. Of course, anyone who owns a Jeep knows that every 30 minute project takes 4 hours so this didn't surprise me. Drilled a couple extra holes and they went in nicely. Paired ... I would and have definately recommend these to my friends.

Good design for 4x6 speaker requirements
Uses a round woofer vs oval, supposed to give better sound. Fit perfectly in my Chevy silverado, huge improvement from stock speakers even with stock head unit.. They are reliable, I have polk db speakers that have lasted 10 years and still working (in my other car).

Great speaker for the size!
I bought 2 sets of these,because that was the only size that would fit in my truck.The top end and mid ranges are excellent,bass is weak.Had to add an 8" sub/amp combo to even it out.Still,for the money,they are really solid speakers.
