    They work

    These do work. But they are best suited for small optics or very compact scopes. You do have to file down the two tips by each clamp but once that is done. They work quite well. Also I would recomend that they not be used on hard recoil or heavy vibrations. Again best suited for rimfire or multi-pump and CO2 type air guns. Cheers......Spurio2

    Nice rail but MUST be modified in order for it to function as advertised.

    Just as many others who have bought this item have stated, it only works well once it has been modified. Without removing the two small "tabs" located on the bottom of the rail it will NOT fit a standard dove tail section on a rifle or shotgun. It is easy to remove the "tabs" due to the rail being made of aluminum and not steel. However, until those tabs are removed, it will not work. I am using this rail on a 12ga shotgun and am very pleased with how this rail functions, now that the modifications have been performed.

    Miss milled

    I had to grind burrs off in the center and a lil at each end, Rail would NOT seat down into the 11mm dovetail milled into the receiver. After reworking i did get it to fit but only by the skin of my teeth.. I'll try a diff brand if it comes off. Although I did have to us some 3m double sided mounting tape in the center just because i had to grind off some of the grabbing edge at both ends just to get it to drop down far enough to grab the dovetail. Not at all impressed.

    Great AFTER modification!

    Used on a Crosman nitro piston pellet gun. The rail wouldn't drop into position until a little material(tabs) were filed away from one side of the solid part of the rail. The tabs aren't needed because the clamps work fine. I still love this rail for my application because it's super low profile and fits this Buckmark sight nicely. Tab mods/removal can be done in minutes with a rough file, rotary tool, or possibly a fingernail file or wire cutters or hacksaw.

    Great for rifles with dovetail grooves.

    Works great on my 22 rifle. Fits good on the dovetail rail. I mounted a Bushnell TRS on it. I love it since I can’t see the iron sights very well any more.
