had an issue with the shipping service and seller was terrific at helping and all resolved positively. The Matelasse spread is MUCH nicer than pictured and laundered perfectly. It had a new fabric smell until I washed it on wool setting cold water and line dried it in the mountains of tennessee. Even with our humidity, it dried quickly with no more fabric odor.
