The book is pretty detailed with a lot of sources. For people who are completely unfamiliar with the Zapatista situation, I would not recommend this book because this book assumes that the reader is somewhat familiar with what is going on. I would perhaps suggest watching the documentary, A Place Called Chiapas, to kind of get a good background on the situation. The book is at least good in that it provides additional information to provide a more in depth understanding. I do agree with some of the other reviewers that the book tends to get repetitive after 300-400 pages into the book.
Great variety of authors and an interesting read. I enjoy hearing the thoughts of other people that I admire on such an important topic. Very enlightening.
