    I love it

    The voices are wonderful. It's read by many different women and each one puts her heart into it. I've been wishing for a Bible read by women, and am so glad I found this. The chapter readings are done with enthusiasm. I wish there was the Old Testament, too! This is the New Century Version which I really enjoy listening to as well. I am well familiar with King James and NIV. I love hearing the words I'm familiar with written a different way. This translation, and the International Children's Bible, have helped give clarity to certain passages that used to pass over my head. It's not that I swallow every thing I read or hear in the NCV as a perfect translation of the original. But it's like having someone say, "Have you considered looking at it this way?" Very happy with this ...
