IT GIVES ME THE OPTION OF A RADIO, PHONE CHARGER AND A PLACE TO MOUNT A GPS FOR TRIPS IF NEEDED YET I STILL HAVE ALL THE ADVANTAGES OF A 2001 HERITAGE. Installation
I began the installation by following the instructions. After attaching the mounting brackets to the inner fairing I could not get it to slide down on the Memphis Shades bracket. I gently beat on it with a rubber hammer, then I loosened the bolts on the fairing inner liner and tried the rubber hammer again. It would not fit in place. I then removed the mounting brackets from the fairing inner liner and mounted the brackets onto the Memphis shades brackets. Then I mounted the inner fairing to the mounting brackets. I then mounted the outer fairing to the inner fairing and installed the windscreen before tightening the bolts that held the outer fairing to the inner fairing. The complete installation took about 20 minutes after I threw away the instructions. Great fit, good finish, and really ... I began the installation by following the instructions.
