    This is a very very good fit but not an exact fit. You may have to make some minor refinements while installing. Ie, On my car, keep in mind this is a 70 year old car, I had to shave down the sides of the mounting brackets to get it to slide in. 2 mounting holes lined up, 6 new had to be drilled. My suggestion, before you start, buy new mounting bolts/nuts/washers, buy pipe plugs if you don't have an automatic trans, get new hose clamps and hoses if yours are old like mine were. I'd buy again

    This a close fit, but needs modifications. Horn mount holes will need to be drilled. The factory trans cooler will need to be removed since the lower hose was a bear to install and is offset. Additionally the power steering pump pulley is alarmingly close to the radiator. I need to buy new hardware to complete install since the radiator did not have factory nuts on flange. Maybe once it’s all tightened up that gap will open up a few 16ths.

    Purchased for 54 belair 235 with power glide. Dimensions worked without mods. Mount holes lined up. Holes for horn needed to be drilled. Very close to fan. Not using trans cooler on the rad just plugged. Slight leak where drain threads into the rad. Thread sealer should solve have not done that yet. Just in testing car runs cool. Appears to be good build and welds. Time will tell. Satisfied with purchased. Fast shipping.
