Plug-Play-View Simplicity Just a Great System
The easiest software I have ever had the pleasure of working with. I have installed several systems from different manufacturers. I won't get into the name dropping here but from a system installer perspective, Reolink has very solid and easy to follow software. The hardware is just as impressive. This system was purchased and installed for a friend of mine, I liked the system so much I decided to install this system at my house. The attached picture (phone screenshot) really does not show the amount of detail these cameras display. They have been up and running for 2-weeks now with no problems. The motion detection is somewhat sensitive, but I would prefer this to be the case. The night viewing is impressive with great black and white clarity. The phone app (Android for me) is just as ... Out of (3) Systems ordered, (2) were defective. The last one has (2) cameras going dead within (5) weeks of after installation. Instructions for the product could be better. Now Reolink is considering warranty for the (2) dead cameras and the outcome of that will determine my further judgement of this product. I need RLK8 cameras like I bought and with 2 dead they can only replace them with RLC cameras which will not serve why I purchased this particular system. Good hardware, needs better instructions of use
Its a good budget single wired system, easy to install, plug and play, all wired systems will require work for the running of cable(s), but this one POE. One fault I have is with the software that you down load. There is zero instructions on how to use it, and I didn't even down load the app. The picture quality is great and for the price I think its just fine.
