Everytime I use it, I am more impressed!
I am thoroughly enjoying my Vita. It is more than just portable gaming; I use it all the time at home. It is like having a home entertainment system on my bed, on the toilet, or at the dinner table. The picture when watching movies equals that of my Philips 42 in. LCD. Netflix runs lag free with a beautiful picture through wifi. Music unlimited also streams smoothly. I have only played Rayman and Uncharted, both are beautiful and hard to put down. Uncharted really shows you how much fun you can have with the touch screen, camera, and motion sensors. Motion sensor aiming seemed silly to me at first but after trying it, combined with the joystick, it felt so natural. There is also a handful of free apps with more announced. Ultimately, this is my biggest complaint, lack of free apps. But ... I am thoroughly enjoying my Vita. It is more than just portable gaming; I use it all the time at home. Great product but not great for ps4 remote play, or larger hands
I sold this within 2 weeks because it was not compatible with the trigger grip. It is bulky and heavy, sometime hard to use back touch controls (the pdp trigger grip will fix this issue). I use remote play with the ps4 and ps now. I don't buy games for the vita for the over priced ps2 graphics. $40 games should not have choppy graphics on remote play the ps4 games look amazing, its the games not the console. The bottom line is the old vita was rushed and if you have hands and fingers like the designer of the vita then this one will work for you. If you have big hands, then the 2001 model vita slim is the best to go with. If you want to play ps4 game on the vita get the pdp trigger grip from GameStop. Majorly cool Portable System! Definitely worth the money!
There is always room for improvement but at this moment, this system is just great.This system is what the PSP should have been from the start and then this system should have been the upgraded version of the PSP that would have been this system in first place...hope that made sense. ^_^ The touch screen makes everything much more convenient and exciting. Being able to use the entire system (mic, back front touch, controllers, camera, etc...) in some games is the coolest ever. I love the PlayStation Vita endlessly, it is by a wide margin the best handheld game system I have ever owned. More powerfull than the 3ds and far sturdier.
