AC Delco or you will have cluncks
I installed the inexpensive aftermarket sway bar links for my GMC Acadia and the vehicle made all kinds of clunking noises. The aftermarket parts are either too long or too short or even too thin. Additionally, the threaded stud that goes through the strut or the stabilizer bar is thicker and fits tightly so the vehicle won't clunk when you twist and turn or go over bumps. Just pay the extra money and get the GM AC Delco parts or you car will sound terrible and your wife will nag you forever.I installed the inexpensive aftermarket sway bar links for my GMC Acadia and the vehicle made all kinds of clunking noises. Thinner than original
I took these to my mechanic, he removed the old links and was installing these new ones when the nuts provided with the links kept stripping. Also comparing the thickness of the links, the original ones are lot thicker, almost twice as thick as the ACDelco ones. So he had to put the original ones back on. Now I have these new links with stripped nuts sitting here... total loss of $$$
