So Happy I got this Thermometer!!!
I ordered the Medline thermometer because my daughter was sick , had a fever, & would NOT let me take her temperature (w our regular electronic thermometer) even in her sleep! I needed something that I could just touch to her & get the temperature. This one is very easy to use (after you fig it out) . You just touch it to the head & click the button. It works that fast! Better and much faster readings than the expensive hospital oral thermometers!
It's just as accurate as the Welch Allen expensive oral thermometers. This gives me a temperature in about 2 seconds as opposed to the oral thermometers. Love it, use it in the ER all the time. The simplicity plus how compact this thermometer is makes it a must have in critical care and anywhere else in nursing. Our thermometers that the hospital provides are the temporal swipe thermometers and they don’t work worth a darn. With this thermometer I have caught a few high fevers that the swipe thermometers weren’t close to catching. For all I know this thermometer could’ve saved those patients lives. When looking for a small thermometer I was going to buy the small ADC but for the price it’s not worth it.
