Impressed with the 1hp
Please keep in mind that my previous grinder was a 1950s 300# 5hp electric grinder that i used to grind Chaga which is a dried mushroom that grows on birch trees. When dried it can be tough to bust up. So my old grinder could go thru pretty much anything. That being said , I was impressed with what this 1hp could do. I was used to a 3" hole to drop into. Going down to a 2" was the biggest adjustment I had. The 2 features I like the best are its light weight (compared to my old one) and the reverse option when j wasnt paying attention to how fast I was shoving it into the grinder. I'm averaging 15 to 20# an hour. If the product was actually meat I could get alot more done.
