Worked well with my PS2 Slim model. The only thing with this is that it will not support progressive scan, which is only supported by component (this uses the rgb signal). This can really come in handy though as it can play ps1 and ps2 in proper resolution, where a lot of component to hdmi adapters don't support the 240p signal required for ps1 games. Would totally recommend as an easy budget option!

The Pound cable works fantastically on improving the picture quality for most PS2 games, while drastically improving the quality on PS1 games. Used on a 55" Samsung RU7000. Much better quality than the common and cheaper PS2 to HDMI converter. Only issue I noticed is an audible buzz in the audio, which seems to diminish at certain times and isn't too noticeable during gameplay.

Pound technologies ps2 hmdi converter is like something out of a dream. It's so simple yet it's able to produce outstanding results. Coming with the core box itself a sizeably long micro USB cable which you can plug into your console to generate power to it and an extra HDMI cable I'm FINALLY able to enjoy playing my ps2 on my 4k tv without having to literally sit in front of my TV. The way to return to nostalgia or experience old school for the first time!
I don't normally do reviews on Ebay (this is my first one actually!) but I just had to for this. This right here is some amazing technology! I recently wanted to hook up my PS2 and play it again but I realized something when I tried, most modern TVs including my 55" Samsung, do not have the old RGB A/V outputs anymore. Even if it did the picture may not be so great because of how low res the SD output of the pre-HDMI consoles were. This cable fixes all of that! It not only converts that output from the original source through HDMI to connect it to a modern TV, it actually upscales the image quality to 720p! What this means is since the picture is running in HD, you can then go into your TV settings and adjust the picture to fit the screen in 16:9 without stretching the image! This allows ... I don't normally do reviews on Ebay (this is my first one actually!) but I just had to for this. This right here is some amazing technology! Don't expect the level of quality from much more expensive options but for anyone who is just getting back into classic gaming and doesn't have the cash or the desire to purchase additional cables that are required for some of the other products out there, you can't ask for more. The Included HDMI and Micro-USB cable were a great surprise and a wonderful value add! It's the best plug and play solution for playing classic PS1 and PS2 games for the price. Don't expect the level of quality from much more expensive options but for anyone who is just getting back into classic gaming and doesn't have the cash or the desire to purchase additional cables that are required for some of the other products out there, you can't ask for more. This product is godsend. PS2 slim hooked up to a big name mid-range 4K TV that lacks composite and component inputs (HDMI only). Other cheap adapters can't handle 240i games, this can with ease. And honestly, for 20 year old games, it looks darn good. They give you generously long USB and HDMI cables. Just change your console video setting to RGB and you're off to nostalgia land.
