    Belt drive Turntable speed unstable ? It could be the belt .

    Getting good stable speed from a belt drive turntable requires a precision belt otherwise the speed of the turntable can be Very Unstable and rock back and forth .I've had many belt drive turntables that had unstable speed and after checking off every other possibility as to why that was I thought I'd try getting and New, hopefully precision belt for it and that did the trick .The New precision belt stabled out the speed irregularities .So Precision belts are critical for getting proper stable speed for a belt drive turntable.
