Fixed my problem exhaust leak
Used on a 2008 Nissan Altima 2.5 SL. I had to replace the secondary cat pipe (not the primary cat that is built into the exhaust manifold) and had a problem leak between the cat pipe and the resonator pipe (the mid-pipe). First I tried one Walker 31540 exhaust gasket which is what was specified for the Walker cat pipe that I installed. It did not seal. So I tried using two of the Walker gaskets. This worked...but only for about 4 months before a loud leak developed. I searched online for a solution and read good reviews about the Remflex gaskets and decided to try one. Glad I did! They are much thicker than the Walker gaskets and compress to fill any gaps. I cleaned the mating surfaces again with a die grinder and abrasive wheel, and torqued the two bolts in stages to the 20 ft ... Used on a 2008 Nissan Altima 2.5 SL.
