I don't remember seeing a description stating that fact. So all the Velcro fasteners for the rear of the tv are impossible, unless you take the tv off the wall every time you want to cover it and uncover it. That being said, it still covers the front of the tv. $25 is cheap. I'll keep it. I'll probably buy another one that just slides over from the top of tv get one with Velcro front. Good product, just making others aware
