Perfect for Pixel 2 XL
After seeing all the complaints about glass protectors not working or fitting will on the Pixel 2 XL I abandoned that search. Found this Skinomi TechSkin Ultra Clear. Highly recommend watching their video, very well done and helpful. I cleaned the screen 3 - 4 times to make sure all prints and dust was removed. Since my phone is water resistant for 30 minutes I used the spray provided generously which I felt was key to ease of install. It went really well with absolutely no dust marks or bubbles. The edges at first kept raising for the first 10 minutes. I used the cloth and kept gently pressing them down with a motion starting a 1/2" away from the edge and with a slide and roll over the edge. I use a Speck phone case and found the fit of the case with the edge of the protector is perfect. ... Takes paitents n time but comes out looking great, down side is not sure how much abuse it can take cause its seems like it's a( rubbery silicone plastic material) and I'm used to the glass screen protectors, but i couldnt find one to fit my Pixel 2 XL. Tried few other glass protector's but none fit very well... Great alternative to glass screen protectors!
This screen protector is extremely easy to apply, you just spray with the included lubrication and slap the screen protector onto it. You may or may not have bubbles underneath, but not to worry, those will disappear once the screen protector is fully adhered. These screen protectors do have some ripples that are hard to see unless you're in direct sunlight, but it's not noticeable when you're using the phone and it doesn't affect the screen quality. The only con about this type of screen protector is that it is easier to scratch and leave marks on it compared to glass and plastic screen protectors.This screen protector is extremely easy to apply, you just spray with the included lubrication and slap the screen protector onto it. Exactly as described. The application process takes a bit of patience and researching. But the final results are great. It's difficult to find a protector to fit the curved display well, the skinomi wet application fit perfectly, so long as you take the patience to fold in the edge to the display (this is the part that takes patience). I recommend you sit down and watch a 30 minutes sitcom while gently massaging the edges on to the phone. Also, recommened is to no place a case, or slide it into anything for 24 hours. After the 24hr waiting period, it's great. I've had it on my phone for 1 month and no problems have arisen. I recommend this product.Exactly as described.
