    Can’t find replacement belt ? This fixes a broken one...

    This product saved me a lot of money because there are no replacement belt buckle inserts available in this style. When it broke I was concerned that would have to replace it entirely. I was skeptical about this, but it was easy to use and it went together easily.

    Hope they are better now.

    I bought two of these a bit over a year ago, one exploded and the other was very loose and ready to come apart. The black plastic part that breaks seems to be too soft and the holding tabs let loose in time. I got 13 months. Their spring seems stronger than the original GM spring and may be too much pressure on the plastic clip. The Parts Place was nice enough to replace one just over their 1-year warranty and I just bought another. I hope they last longer this time. It would be nice if they just offered the part that breaks as all the other parts in the kit don't need to be replaced.

    good, but too many parts

    Repair is quick and simple. But, it comes as a "package" with pices that you don't need. You don't need the spring, GM label and metal clip. Really all that's needed for repair is the black plastic cover. That's what keeps breaking and what holds the other pieces in place. Please start selling just the black plastic cover!

    Exploding seat belts

    I just recently bought a 72 chevelle and a month later the seat belts exploded on me. I looked all over for replacements and couldn't fine anything but used seat belts or a total replacement. These worked out great and I would highly recommend them.
