    They are great for what they were meant for.

    I got these to do a mod to a guitar and they are working perfectly. I am setting them into the body so that I can change out loaded pickguards readily without tearing up the wood with the wood screws. The things to remember are to make sure that you drill the correct size holes deep enough and that these are made of brass so they can be brittle as they get too tight. Your screw driver can chip the corners off so be careful.
