    Worked perfectly, IDW if the numbers stamped on the pieces mean anything

    I only needed to replace the female side of the door latch. The kit comes with three female door latches and they are each a different color with a different number stamped on them. The number might be indicating the thickness of sheet metal (in increments of 5/1000 of an inch) used on the appliance the latch is meant to be inserted into. There are no instructions include in the kit. I used the latch with the number that matched the number stamped on the broken latch I was replacing. It worked great. I think any of the three female latches could have been used, you can't tell the difference with the naked eye if there is any difference between them. Easy to remove the old latch with a needle nose pliers and then just push in the new one. There's an easy tutorial on youtube.

    put more description on sales sight .. contains 3 option .. no instructions !!! whoops after wrecking a couple noticed in VERY small print web site to contact for the instructions , this old dog doesn't think of this first , however after looking at them - they were pretty much useless --- something about double lock --- or 27 inch center something --- NOTHING ON THIS MACHINE IS 27 INCH --- IT IS THE CORRECT PART FOR THIS MODEL --- WHIRLPOOL ,,, IT IS A RINKY DINK CLOSURE FROM FACTORY WHEN NEW ... HOWEVER THIS REPAIR KIT IS NO IMPROVEMENT , IT STILL ALLOWS DOOR TO POP OPEN - GRRRRR . .. FEMALE PCS HAVE SMALL NUMBERS ON THEM -- MALE PCS DO NOT - this is probably the best option for this machine - but my experience is less than great - good luck --- the pc. in door will ...
