Product Information

NBA Jam T.E. features two-on-two fast-paced and unrealistic basketball. A sequel to the original NBA Jam, this game is also filled with super dunks and has no out-of-bounds. Features included are 9-point plays, rookie and all-star teams, injuries, and fatigue. There are a variety of power-ups, including monster jams from anywhere, speed increase, power increase, unlimited turbo, increased 3-point ability, catch fire, and a bomb that flattens all of the other players.<br><br>Each one of the 27 teams has three to five of their players in the game. The complete game features more than 120 players in all, some of which are hidden and will have to be released before you can use them. The initials T.E. that have been added to the title stand for Tournament Edition. In the tournament mode all power-ups and cheats are disallowed.

    Great port of a great game

    NBA Jam Tournament Edition is probably one of the best sports games to hit the arcades. For senior skip day, one of my classmates and I played an actual cabinet of NBA Jam and had a lot of fun, even if the A.I. was relentless. T.E. has extra features that the original NBA Jam doesn't, such as juice mode that allows for faster gameplay and powerups. While this game was ported to many platforms, the Sega Saturn version is probably the closest to the arcade, as it looks, sounds, and plays almost exactly the same. In comparison, even the decent port on the PlayStation only runs at half the framerate. If you have a Saturn, this is the version to get!

    Perfect Arcade Port

    This is the best arcade port of the game period and i played all of them so you can trust me on that. Im not really a sports fan of games or even in real life but i love the arcade style sport like these.
