A Rivalry that led to Hatred, which led to Redemption, which then led to Forgiveness.
There is no doubt that "The Hitman" Bret Hart & "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels were among the absolute best in the WWE. And that their rivalry has been considered to be one of the best in the history of pro-wrestling as well. These two men many years ago had respect for each other until their personal issues collided, which became evident in the aftermath of their EPIC Iron Man match for the WWE title at WrestleMania 12. And then later on, it led to intense hatred between the two. Wounds were opened even further when it came to the highly-controversial Montreal Screwjob at the 1997 edition of Survivor Series. Both then suffered physical injuries which crushed their spirits until they were able to get help. And over a decade later, both men forgave each other. This blu-ray includes their WWE title match at the 1997 Survivor Series. And to tell the truth, I do believe that their intense rivalry could have been resolved more peacefully.
