old style camcorder
I bought it because I had an old fx series camera that did not work . I had batteries and a remote from my old camera that would also work with this camera plus this camera has a viewing screen that my old camera did not have. It works fine except the rewind is a little noisy and stops occasionally-removing the tape and re-inserting it seems to correct it. it works fine for this vintage 90s camera fx series. the price was right but if fails I do not think repair parts are available. I also printed a manual from the internet which was a big help. for an older analog 8mm camera it works just fine. you cannot compare it to the newer 8mm hi8 cameras for image and weight etc. they are just improved with age. for my application it was great so far for reviewing family tapes etc.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
