    Good router overall..

    Product appears slightly used ...foot pads had dirt on them....like the unit had been sitting somewhere for awhile....However....works very well a nice router...love the scheduling and blocking features....the VPN feature is outstanding....you can sign up for your VPN service and then run the service from the router....every device attaching to the router will have VPN service...Wireless coverage and game streaming is very good...

    Routers out

    Item was shipped and delivered fast. After using it for a few days the router will not stream movies, it spools every time it the picture moves to fast. I tried everything too make it work. I removed all other devices and it still spools.

    Excellent, stable product

    Upgraded from Asus RT-AC88U that was very problematic. This one works flawlessly, and I'm using the AC88U as part of a mesh network. I now have full coverage in all rooms, outdoors in my garden and parking area. I have over 20 devices connected wireless and 3 more are wired, and internet speed increased dramatically for all. Highly recommended.

    Best Router Available

    This router can handle as many connected devices as we can throw at it. It is probably the fastest router available as well at this time. Set-up is easy if you just take your time and follow the simple directions. If you are a gamer, this is a must.

    Good investment for large family with many wireless devices.

    Great product with lots of different options for multi-functional use. I am not a network specialist and had to do a bit of reading before setting up different devices such as VPN, wireless printers (one of the wireless printers would not connect to the Asus router, but it ended up being a simple change in router settings). Nice feature to have is the option for guest wifi, so that you are not required to give your password away... The 5000 square foot coverage is more than enough to cover the house network needs (and even backyard) all kids wireless devices, games, and smooth online streaming. The speed drop from ISP modem to Asus is minimal - in the range of about 5% in our case. I measured the speed through Ethernet cable directly from modem getting a range of 295 mbps while Asus router ...
