There are three major components of the MONO bass case that distinguish it from other gig bags: the headlock, the boot and the top-loading feature. The idea for a new case design was born of the ages old scenario of grabbing the guitar out of the side of a partially unzipped case while standing up. MONO do this to save space, to save time, or to save our backs. It is the guitar gig bag equivalent of the apple falling on Newton's head. This observation became the driving concept behind the Vertigo, the world's first top-loading guitar case. The top-loading feature might have been enough, but MONO also redesigned the Headlock for automatic neck support.

I feel better knowing my 1500$ bass is safe!
This is the best bag to date that I own. Scored it at $190 and free shipping! Safe and secure, I added a tsa bag lock which fit great through the zippers. Very spacious front pocket that is great for holding various cables, books or even my wireless. There is a small netted pocket inside of the larger one, but the design is flawed for holding smaller items. It is a weird boomerang shape that allows items to slide down the side. If you’re looking for a great, safe, well built bag for holding a strap, cable, tuner and possibly a small collapsible bass stand then this one will get the job done! I also picked up the tick for easier access for business cards, a soft cloth, some tools and my primary cable. Now it’s a portable office!
