I've only used these batteries a short time and certainly from a pricing perspective they are an attractive alternative to RYOBI batteries. I did note that when using them in one of my leaf blowers they do not work quite the way the Ryobi brand does. The blower has a two stage trigger--normal and a turbo speed. using the Ryobi battery I can engage either speed instantly. Using these replacements I must first start at the lower speed before engaging the turbo.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Don't expect advertised capacity
This battery is advertised as 6 ampere-hour capacity. It is the same form factor as a Ryobi 5 amp-hour. When used in my Ryobi mower, it loses charge at the same rate as a Ryobi 5 a-h. So far, it performs OK as a 5 a-h battery, but it is not 6 a-h. As such, it is a good buy, and seems to be good quality. JUST ADDING ANOTHER PIECE TO MY LARGE RYOBI COLLECTION
This 5.0 Ah adds another to my large Ryobi collection. With a 6.0 Ah I already have and this new 5.0 I can take both to my large front yard, clean off my long driveway and sidewalks and yard with my Ryobi leaf blower and not have to return to the charger until I am completely finished. Lots of power great replacement value
I bought this to run my expand it pole chain saw. I had doubts but when I took off my weedeater and hooked up the pole saw with this battery I was impressed. It went through some big oak tree limbs with no problem. I can weed eat my entire yard and edge the drive way with out changing batteries. More capacity
I use this battery for the string trimmer instead of the 2.5ah that comes with it. It lasts a lot longer and I can use it as a spare for the lawn mower. 3 amp hr 40 v Ryobi battery
