  • Not what I expected for price paid

My understanding before buying was that using this device specifically would keep me from having to use a fan hacking app once my new SSD was installed with this sensor. However, after much to do, this ended up not being the case so I had to download an app after all to control fan speed otherwise the fan will run constantly. I thought spending $40 on this high end piece would avoid this issue but I guess not. (For anyone wondering, yes, that sensor was installed correctly. The install video was plain and simple.) So...it's an expensive sensor relay.
