    A Good Stand Alone Movie

    The film maker's commentary ( an added feature ) was fascinating, it really added a lot to the film. Dafne Keen, as Laura, the mutant kid, is especially engaging. This movie was made for people who've never had anyone try to kill them. F2F, I mean. A bit much gore.

    Disappointing

    I love the x men movies, but this one was very disappointing. The overuse of filthy language, excessive gore, and controversial story line made me want to watch it with the sound off. I am sure it was all done to intensify the story but it turned me off. Wish I hadn't spent my money on it. Hugh Jackman and Sir Patrick Stewart are better than this! I have to give it a "no" for review. 1 star only because I normally like the actors.

    Wolverine deserved better than this

    Hollywood has no idea what to do with aging characters. The default appears to be "make them cranky and sick and use them as an unlikely martyr so that they can make way for the next generation. It's annoying and predictable. The new girl they set up to replace him is an extraordinary killing machine, but, I don't feel any connection to her and have no interest in seeing what happens to her next.

There are anti-mutants trying to kill them. In this scenario, Xavier has found a new mutant, a young girl who is exactly like Logan-another Wolverine! This movie is a violent but sad X-Men movie, but also the best one yet! As Logan tries to save Xavier and the girl, he had to face his own immortality. It may be the end for Hugh Jackman's Wolverine, but the beginning of a new franchise

    Better the Second Time

    I was taken aback the first time through due to the dark nature of the tale, and the fact that it was so different from other Marvel films. I'm glad I gave it another viewing. Good show!
