Still an excellent choice for older systems today!
Upgraded an older system using Z87 mobo, 32gb DDR3 RAM, Nvidia 660gpu and i7-4670K for video editing. Despite being an older cpu, the additional 4 core hyperthreading capability has improved rendering times and does not bottleneck the new 3060 ti OC gpu for current games. Excellent performance now with this new combo and am fairly blown away w/ what it can still handle and achieve performance wise (FPS) competing with current processors and newer DDR. No reason to upgrade the whole system for a few more years now as it handles virtually anything I throw at it. No real improvement over the 4670K for everyday average software needs (email, browsing etc..) but WELL satisfied for more intensive / demanding graphics and video editing needs!
