    Great RPG for both beginners and veterans

    Just a great game. Manages to take all the fun elements of the Mario world and its characters and pairs them perfectly with a simple to understand but still compelling turn-based RPG battle system. I'd read that this was originally meant to be a sequel to Super Mario RPG for the SNES, but, as I've never really played that, I can't speak to how similar it really is. Nonetheless, if you grew up with that game but have never played Paper Mario, I'm sure you'll want to give it a chance.

    Part of the N64 'Greatest Hits'

    A must have game for any owner of an N64. The game took a new approach for Mario than his standard level by level journey. A compelling story awaits the player as they gather info and approach enemies by 'turn by turn' base attacks. The new style and world that was created for this game left it's mark as a Classic for both the Nintendo 64 and the Mario franchise itself.

    A fabulous flashback to the glory days of RPG's and a great entry in the Mario series!

    This game is truly wonderful. While I've never been a huge fan of RPG's in general, simply because I prefer to actually move the character at all times while playing, and to fight my own battles, this one is different. In Paper Mario, there is an "action button" that enables one to attack and block attacks by hitting the button at the precise moment required. Also, there is just a huge array of power up and fighting and defense attributes called "badges", each with their own unique qualities. And learning to combine the various badges and use them together results in an endless array of possible ways to vanquish the myriad foes in Paper Mario's world. The graphics are great, the enemies are great, and any fan of any entry in the many Mario series' out there will recognize most all of ...

    So far so good, the game works and that's really what I was praying for, after I get to a certain part of the game myself I will absolutely enjoy giving this valuable gem to my daughter and watching her play her first time through. It's in great condition as well as far as I can tell.
