I needed something to keep a nice even temperature in the house as the monstrosity of a furnace gets everything too hot, then as soon as it shuts off a chill sets in. And . . . it's noisy as hell. After researching space heater ratings, I decided on this one. It sits quietly in the background and puts out a steady, even heat that beats off the chill. It gives me the option of moving the heat around with the oscillating fan, or keeping a steady output in one area. Its usually set at 65 degrees, but just to test its ability, I cranked it up to Maximum. The room was nice and warm, but no need to keep it set that high.
I would recommend this for anyone who is looking for a supplemental heating unit.
High and Low buttons work the same, so whats the point..and it oscillates only on high temps...bummer
There is no difference between the "low" and "high" options. The "low" button does not work as you would expect. High and Low are the same. And it only oscillates on "high" and over 75 degrees..so you cant set it to heat an area at a lower temperature on "low"... So it over heats my area....
its very pretty, and that is about the only redeeming quality. I wish it worked better. Unless it's broken??? I do not know. the Instructions do not cover this topic so I do not know.
This is an attractive looking heater. It works well and not an eye sore! I love the fact it has a timer and remote. It even oscillates. Will heat a room very quickly.
