Reel and box were exactly like represented. Excellent description and was sent quickly. I would buy from this seller again. Some sellers on Ebay are superior to others and this one was in that top field. Textbook process from listing, posting information and fulfilling the product! Tanks a lot!

  • Well researched and illustrated.

The authors have delved into the Triumph motorcycle history to bring it up to the point the English motorcycles were brought here, and how. They explain the birth of the parallel twin in the 1930s and the war years to eventual expansion after. The late 40s and early 50s models are discussed leading up to and how a British motorcycle became the most iconic Triumph of all - the Bonneville - and was named after literally American soil. Racing history is included, the results of over-confidence, over-spending, lack of research, the 1973 lockout, re-emergence as a Co-Op, and eventual demise to rise again from the ashes when a buyer purchased the name and little else. The title "Triumph Motorcycles in America" is indeed the go to book on the topic. Well researched and illustrated.
