    Hilarious show for the whole family

    The Nanny is one of those shows that never gets old. It almost always gives me a reason to laugh out loud. The scripts and jokes are great and delivered perfectly by the cast. I bought the DVD set when I discovered that some of the TV showings cut parts out of the original shows to fit in additional commercials. Worse, some of the funniest stuff was cut out. For TV and film buffs, there is the added bonus that each episode has several fun references to popular films and other TV shows. Fran Drescher coming down the staircase dressed like Audrey Hepburn in "My Fair Lady" will take your breathe away. Recommended family entertainment.
