    exactly what i was looking for!

    crispy sound, lightweight, a good pack of features! downsides? the increase and decrease volume are kinda too sensitive and there stand in the way when u use the handset make them easy to press without intention. If u are not an english speaking person, you can change the phone display language, but the voice when it repeats the keys you press or reading your caller id or incoming messages... remains in english. but i still think those are minor flaws for a great product for the money

    A sound purchase.

    The corded phone is excellent. Large buttons and adjustable ringer. Many unusual features such as audible beep when there is answering message. In addition, very easy to add names and phone numbers to contacts. Phone uses replaceable batteries to remember settings and contacts if there is power failure. Phone works if electricity is off if you have older phone service which does not use internet for dial phone. If you plug phone into wall jack, phone will likely work in power failure. Phone lights up on incoming calls in addition to ringing. Can add up to three cordless handsets to base but must be purchased separately. Phone works with caller I.d. call waiting.

    I have purchased 3 of these phones. One for myself and 2 for elderly friends. One of my friends has used 3 times when she fell getting out of tub and once falling out of bed. No monthly fee or $200 set up fee. Great deal. I am very pleased.
