Doesn't Smell Like It Used To
I wore this perfume many years ago. It could be purchased at the corner drug store or at the Five and Dime Store. I loved the smell of it and got many compliments. It was long lasting if some was sprayed on your blouse or top. The Perfume I received the other day was nothing like what I used back in the 1960's. I realize that this is not the sellers fault. Most perfumes sold today, even the very expensive brand name perfumes have absolutely no staying power. They smell wonderful when you first spray them on, but an hour later you wonder if you remembered to even spray any on yourself!!! I don't know what they have done to all the perfumes but they certainly don't have any lasting scent power anymore. Many top brands that have been around for years and years no long smell anything like the original that was created years ago. Channel No. 5 smells nothing like the perfume I recall from the past. Not like it used to be
I ordered this spray, an was so excited when it came. I quickly sprayed it an the smell was just exactly the way i remembered. But unlike the way i remember , the fragrance faded away within minutes. One of the things about Coty Wild Musk was its staying power, that would last all day or all night. I thought i must have imagined that i couldnt smell it, so i sprayed it on my shirt, an again, in about an hour, the fragrance was gone. I dont know if its because this is an old batch or what. I had previously found a site that sells Love's Rain, a fragrance that was terminated in the 80's, i ordered 4 bottles of it, an only one was no good, the others hold their scent to this day an i bought them over 2 years ago. Cody wild must review
This Cody wild musk for some reason smells great but it does not stay so you have to re apply it more than 3 times .I have asked others can you smell my perfume after putting it on and was told no or barely smell it after putting it on and 1 hour had gone by from application. I have used this perfume when I was in high school in the 80's and it was much stronger and stayed with you .This however does not stay very long so I just use it for a air freshener in the restroom .Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Not the same
This perfume was always my favorite. I hesitated about buying this but since it was a good value i purchased it. However it is nothing like the original this is a lot more watered down then the old version and the scent doesn’t last as long. I can barely smell it after spraying it 2/3 minutes ago. SCENT NOT LASTING
The scent does not stay very long you spray it on and really basically in like 15-20 minutes it seems like you can't even smell it on your wrist or clothing I do believe yes that this was a old version so I would have expected it to last a little longer and if today's perfumes don't seem to smell or last as long as very good service on the delivery easy processing I love this product in 80's & thru 90's but this one that I got just doesn't seem to last as long the scent fades quickly.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Not the same but still pretty
The bottle shown is the older version which has a deeper musk scent that is longer lasting. The version I received is the newer version. To me it has a lighter smell like Skin Musk or Aerin Amber Musk. Musk, vanilla, jasmine and rose are the notes you will find it this clean warm scent.
